Science Project

(Click picture to enlarge)

Casey just finished her science project for this school with a little help from us. What she picked to do this year was really really fun and the dogs liked it too.

Casey wanted to know who could run faster - Denali or Hershey, so off we went outside and did a few test. Casey had tought that Hershey was faster, because she is younger, but she was wrong by 2.55 seconds.

It's amazing what you learn, when you do a test.

SICK Kids :(

Well I have had Justin at home with me almost all week long, because he has not been feeling well. Casey looked like she was getting/had pink eye this week, so Luke has been giving her his pink eye drop med. from his pink eye this Summer. As of today, I now know what both kids have...Casey does have double pink eye and Justin has double pink eye, ear infection and bronchiolitis. Yes, you read it - he has three things wrong with him. Right now Bubba is resting and Casey is at school. Please send some well wishes to the kids. When I talked to Luke, he said he was feeling well either - OH NO! I just I hope get it.

Wednesday's Wind Storm

We had a nice little wind storm last night. It was called Sqall Wind. It didn't do to much damage, so we are very thankful for that. The pool won't have gotten damgaed at all, if Luke won't have let the water out of it this year. I don't know what he was thinking letting the water out of it, he didn't last winter. I know we are moving and we wasn't going to take the pool, but I already had it sold for $100, so there is a $100 we won't see and a pool they won't get.
Half the pool hanging over the fence in the front yard. The other half of the pool on the fence in the back yard.
Luke got the genartor going, so we won't lose the meat we just bought and then the power came right back on after that. The power was off for over an hour.
Some of the candles we used while the power was out, the kids loved using the candles and playing a board game.

Happy New Year

Holly, Renee and Darrell
(the greatest neighbors - from across the street)
Happy 2009! We didn't do anything big here at the house. We had two sets of neighbors over, but they all left before midnight. Only Luke, myself and Mom stayed up until midnight. It was hard on everyone, because they had to work yesterday and some tomorrow.

Today's Update

Well as of today, we are going to Hawaii, but things could change at ANYTIME. Luke told me to not get so excited, but it is hard not to. He got an email saying that he got the orders to Hawaii, but until it is on paper, it could change. Please pray for us that it does not change. We do WANT to go to Hawaii. Welcome to Hawaii! Pictures, Images and Photos Also Luke is testing for Chief (E-7) in January, so if he makes Chief, they might not need him in Hawaii. Yes, we do also want Luke to make Chief, it would help his carerr.
