The new look!

Old UGLY fan...
...New PRETTY fan.
Luke put a new ceiling fan up in the Living Room. It looks so much better then the other one. We call the new fan the 'G' fan, because it looks like it has a 'G' in the middle of it. We think this will help sell the house a little, becuase the first thing we didn't like about the Living Room was the fan.
Since the new fan lights are so bright, Luke also installed a dimmer switch. We keep doing little updates to our house, hoping that will help the value - when we have to sell it.

Dinos in VA!

Yesterday Luke was off work during the day, so we took the kids to the Virginia Living Museum to see the dinos.
They had forgotten about ever going there, since it had been like a year. They had a great time and Justin didn't even want to leave.
They got to see the live animal show and touch some wild animal - like a gator and snake.

Their NEW Pool!

We got this new pool for the dogs, but the kids enjoyed it more, then they did thebig pool the first day. Luke came in the house and said we need to sell our big pool. I was like why, he said the kids enjoied the small pool just as much as the big one...haha. Denali will get in the little pool, but not Hershey. They both like going swimming in the river, but only Denali likes getting wet at home.

A picture is worth a Thousand Words!

Go Luke!
Go Navy!
*I just wish he didn't have his eyes closed.

My helper!

Luke does help me babysit, if I want to do other things around the house. He has always been good with babies.
We are both glad that we only have a baby part-time, not all the time. We have both agreeded to not have anymore babies of our own. I sometimes forget how hard it is to take care of a baby...HA!

Bye Bye Mo

Our friend Monique, who is Navy left for 3 months on a ship. The kids (hers and ours) and I took her to the ship to see her off. It wasn't sad at that moment for anyone, since she was rushed and excited about the cruise. Her kids had us there, so I think that was good for them. They just didn't want to go to their Dad's house, they wanted to live with us for 3 months...haha. I didn't
think their Dad would go for that...haha.
*In the picture, you can see Monique going up the staris to the ship.

Another ER visit!

Yes, one of us was back in the ER for an eye problem and this time it was Lucas. He got Pink Eye on Saturday evening, but we wasn't for sure if that was it or not. We called our nurse neighbor over to look at it and she said she thought it was Pink Eye, but wasn't for sure. She for sure said that if she had some green or yellow discharge coming out of her eye, she would go to the ER. So off Luke went to the ER and for sure he had Pink Eye.
We thought since he was out in the yard working and also cleaning the pool that he got something in it. Well we was so wrong about that...haha!
