On Saturday we went to one of the programs that the Dismal Swamp State Park offers. We learned about leaves and then went on a short hike. After the the hike, we went to the classroom for some leaf rubbing.
We all had fun and also learned something.
The kids touching a mounted snake, thank God that one wasn't real.
*LOOK right in the middle of this picture and you will see an bug. We thought we where looking at a black and red fuzzy ant, but we where WRONG. Actually that is a wasp.
